Also spent the afternoon at the dinosaur museum- Van only liked it for about a half hour :)

24th of July
Van loves to be toted around in the backpack.... He thinks he's so cool! :) we went to the parade and he got a little hot so he had to take his shirt off and put a cool rag around his neck haha.

We went to Huey Lewis and the news concert and Van loved it! He rocked out then fell asleep.....a friend sent his picture into the Huey lewis website and explained it was his 1st concert and he posted his picture on his web page!

July 24th and Camping!
We did our annual camping trip up Salina mountain which was a lot of fun, the kids were so excited to go! We did a lot of riding fourwheelers and eating. Here is a little picture overload of all our fun.....
This little girl loves watermelon!! She couldnt get enough of it, most of it was rolling down her chin onto her shirt but she loved every minute of it.
Parker and Zach showing off their shirts that they just painted. We did lots of crafts which Parker wanted to do all day.
Parker and Peyton, his fourwheeler fits him perfect now and he is getting pretty good on it.
Our cute little biker boys all dressed up to head out on our long ride. Zach rode with Danny on the front of his dirtbike, we had a hard time getting him off he loved riding with his Dad.
This is the beautiful view from our all day ride. You can see the lake at the bottom, that is where we started from!! Our butts hurt really bad that day! The kids were all so good on such a long ride.
Danny was good to offer us some entertainment as he tried for about a half hour to get this huge boulder to roll down the cliff. After much hard work it was a success and we got to watch it crash down the mountain side. Made a pretty cool sound too.
This is what we looked like by the time we made it back to camp. We were so dirty!! I dont know if this picture does any justice to how dirty we were but we were all covered in dirt from head to toe. Maddie was sporting a little stache:)
On our ride the next day I thought I would try to cross this huge creek. I had so much faith in the Honda but came short! I think with some new tires and more of a run I will be able to cross it next year. I think Danny was proud I gave it my best.

Bryce Canyon/ Fourth of July
We decided we were ready to get out of town so we hit Bryce Canyon. We got a room at Rubys Inn, we went horse back riding, tried to hike but got rained out, and hit the Tropic fourth of July parade that lasted about 8 min, it was our kind of parade! We had a lot of fun. Maddie got to ride a "hehe" so that was the highlight for her.
Parker was a natural. He was on Hook.
Zach was quite the Cowboy! He looked so small on that big horse. His horse was named Zero.
Danny and Maddie got to enjoy Bullwinkle. She loved every minute of it!!
Bryce Canyon is so beautiful! We were bummed it kept raining and we couldnt do a hike so we have plans to go back soon!

Fourth of July fun
We went to the parade in Fillmore in the morning and the girls caught so much candy!! Then we went over to Salina to their parade in the evening and they got even more candy..... Of course they don't need it but it was fun for them- so dang hot though! And then they had to get their faces painted!
